Join us in Trento, Italy on March 24-26 for the 13th International Tooling Conference.

The Tooling Conference is a forum for practicing engineers and researchers to exchange their ideas and experiences in all aspects in the field of tooling. As well as giving practitioners an opportunity to keep up to date in the latest developments in production and application of tooling materials, the conference will also provide an excellent forum for researchers to present their work and enhance the transformation to industrial application.

The upcoming 13th lnternational Tooling Conference will be dedicated to sustainability in the field of tooling. Faraz Deirmina, principal metallurgist at Sandvik, will participate as scientific committee member.

Presenters

Dr Jonathan Hann from Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany, in collaboration with the metal powder business unit at Sandvik, will present the wear and nitriding behavior of Osprey® HWTS 50 hot work tool steel produced using laser powder bed fusion.

Dr Lorena Emanuelli from University of Trento, Italy, in collaboration with the metal powder business unit at Sandvik, Seco and Sandvik Coromant, will present the mechanical properties and wear resistance of Osprey® MAR 55 tool steel produced using laser powder bed fusion.
