Osprey® Fe-Cr

Osprey® Fe-Cr is a binary alloy typically used in Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) as a master alloy, combined with carbonyl iron powder, to produce ASTM 400 series stainless steels, e.g. ASTM 420.

This metal powder is manufactured by Inert Gas Atomization (IGA), producing a powder with a spherical morphology which provides good flow characteristics and high packing density.
